Furniture range for Pricerite

For those of you who haven't been to Hong Kong, Pricerite is the leading furniture and homewears retailer with 46 stores in Hong Kong alone. And now they're taking on the rest of the world too with stores planned and opening in China, the middle east and Europe. Selling very affordable furniture and homewears, they approached us to add a western influence to their furniture ranges. We then created two ranges for their Hong Kong market - 'ThreeSixty' is a range in wood veneer and the glossy 'PaintBox' comes in mood-enhancing colours. Check out the TV adds and press blurb below...

"PAINTBOX" (click here to view TV ad)

" "Paintbox" by British Designer Kate Storer is fresh, modern and sexy. Deliberately mood altering colours and sensual lines lift your spirits and evoke emotions. Kate has married traditional lacquer with modern shades to produce colours that are so liquid they shimmer into your consciousness. Ultra smooth and tactile, this is furniture to reach out and touch.

Create maximum impact in living areas with a stunning mix of deep cherry red and snowy white.  Deep red stimulates discussion and warmth. Turn your bedroom into a restful oasis with calming lilac, the colour of balance and reflection. Both the red and lilac are combined with white, the colour of purity and innocence. "Paintbox" mixes Kate's commitment to truly functional furniture with a touch of fun."

"THREESIXTY" (click here to view TV ad)

" "ThreeSixty" ultra-contemporary furniture is the first Asian range specially commissioned from celebrated British designer Kate Storer.
Kate Says "The central inspiration for the range came from an image I had whilst in Hong Kong, which I later realized is the Buddhist symbol for peace, harmony and good luck."

The rotational symmetry of this ancient architypal image is clearly echoed in the focal piece of furniture, the eye-catching wall unit. ThreeSixty the collection evolved from this point into simple, tactile pieces featuring  - smooth lines, soft edges, recessed handles and rounded corners. The range carries Kate's hallmark balance of brilliant function with a sense of proportion and quality natural materials. "
